Passion for values is the core of Junior school education. Our young learners learn respect, intelligent discipline, and courage to face challenges.

Junior School consists of grades 1 - 6. The School follows Future focused Cambridge curriculum aimed at developing 21st-century skills.

At the junior school level, school aims to recognize and develop students’ various talents through academic, co-curricular, entrepreneurial, and social programs.

More Reading

Students at VonHayat get more reading opportunities than most similar schools. It’s made possible through various reading competitions, classroom libraries, and online reading apps.

More Learning

VonHayat provides approximately 15% more learning time for students. Effective use of time throughout the year ensures maximized in-depth learning.

More Focus

In some core learning areas school uses next generation licensed hybrid books consisting of printed text as well as online and offline multi-media resources.

Enrichment Programs at Junior School

Enrichment programs are an integral part of the 21C curriculum and they are aimed at offering our students a rich and rewarding learning experience

Character

Character education is critical to the success of students as it addresses them as individuals, learners and as future leaders.

Character development is one of the most important aspects of education. Therefore, core ethical and performance values are embedded in our curriculum. Apart from teaching ethical values to our young learners, we also ensure that VonHayat school remains a caring community.

Young learners are introduced to 'Golden rules' from their first day in school. From 'Golden Rules' in kindergarten to 'Etiquette Training' in junior school, VonHayat offers a comprehensive approach to character development.

Team Falah

According to a study by UN Foundation and Indiana  University, talking to children about giving is an extremely effective way to encourage philanthropy at a young age.

Team Falah is a charity initiative managed by students of VonHayat students and aimed at reinforcing charitable values at a young age. The program helps young learners grow as socially more engaged and compassionate individuals.

They also study social needs of the society and plan solutions. Team Falah is an important part of our character development program. It makes our young learners realize that they can make a difference in this world.

IDEA Lab

IDEA Lab inspires innovation and curiosity. It's a place full of tools and equipment where we gather to think, design, create and build.

IDEA Lab (Innovation, Design, Engineering and Art Lab) is our makerspace. The project was planned in early 2018 with an objective to incubate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) skills among our young learners. IDEA Lab also promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity — skills our young learners will need for a brilliant career.
